Yum Yum Children: essentially a hail of sonic expression for the universal seeker of authentic expression of the beauty of the night sky. A home-grown band centering around the vocal pairing of husband-wife duo, Leon and Jenifer Goodenough. The hypnotic pop delights of their tunes spans the development of rock 'n roll centering on the vivid coloring of psychedelic exploration.

Homegrown in Portland, now gently repotted in the northwest inland empire, Yum Yum Children are releasing an ambitious 2 albums in 2007 on Quiver Society! One a studio album, the other recorded at home, they show the sonic diversity of the Goodenoughs.

Starting our in the early 1990's in the living room of the newlyweds, their trek has spanned them to put out full lengths three different record labels: Boot to Head, 5 Minute Walk, & Quiver Society, not to mention various other compilations. They have toured the nation 3 times. Also Leon has played in The Clergy, Insomniac Folklore and Pilgrims.

Having shared the same stage with MxPx, Havalina Rail Co, Sixpence None the Richer, and Poor old Lu, Yum Yum Children are reasserting themselves unbound by current musical consumerist trends, look for their albums and go see them live as their live show often included honesty and passion net easliy found in todays world.
